Commander (retired) Francis Theodor Hare, R.N. (16 August, 1890 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Hornsby, London, HarePanter entered Royal Naval College, Dartmouth directly – part of the Royal Navy's transition from training new cadets in H.M.S. Britannia as the new scheme was being primed.[1][Fact Check]
Hare was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 August, 1912.
Hare was appointed in command of the destroyer Manly on 17 July, 1918.[2]
Post-War
Hare was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 August, 1920.
Hare was placed on the Retired List upon his own request on 9 September, 1920. He was promoted to the rank of Commander (retired) on 16 August, 1930.
