H.M. T.B. 101 (1887)

H.M. T.B. 101 was one of seven first-class torpedo boats of the India Office class. Originally named Gurhka and in service with the Royal Indian Marine, she was turned over to the Royal Navy in 1892, retaining her name until 1901.

Service

In 1895, she was the only first-class torpedo boat stationed in Calcutta. Her six sisters were in Bombay.[5]

By 1905 she had returned to home waters and was operating out of Portsmouth.[6]
