H.M.S. Sentinel was one of eight Sentinel class Scout Cruisers completed for the Royal Navy in 1905.

Service

Sentinel re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 1 July, 1913.[8]

She transferred to the Mechanical Training Establishment at Chatham on 6 July, 1920.[9]
