Captain R.N.R. William Charles TarrantR.D., O.B.E., R.N.R. (25 June, 1881 – 30 April, 1941) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Tarrant was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 11 December, 1906.[1]
Tarrant was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 11 December, 1914.[2]
Tarrant would be mentioned in despatches in 1916.
Tarrant was promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 30 June, 1919. He also received a navigational report that same month. He was demobilised on 15 November, 1919.[3]
Tarrant was promoted to the rank of Captain R.N.R. on 30 June, 1930.[4]
