Commander R.N.R. (retired) Edward Dumerque Drury, O.B.E., R.N.R. (6 April, 1875 – 24 January, 1951) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Drury was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 13 November, 1906.[1]
Drury was perhaps promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 13 November, 1914, but it is not explicitly written in his Service Record.[2]
Drury was placed on the Retired List on 12 April, 1917 and promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. in recognition of his wartime service, dated 11 November, 1918. He reverted to the Retired List on 12 October, 1919.[3]
