Engineer Rear-Admiral Walter Rudolph Parnall, (13 June, 1877 – 2 March, 1954) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Parnall was promoted to the rank of Engineer Lieutenant with seniority adjusted to 1 June, 1902.

Parnall was promoted to the rank of Engineer Lieutenant-Commander on 1 June, 1908.[Fact Check]

Parnall was promoted to the rank of Engineer Commander on 1 June, 1912.

Parnall was promoted to the rank of Engineer Captain on 31 December, 1921.

Parnall was promoted to the rank of Engineer Rear-Admiral on 14 August, 1927.

Parnall was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 1 June 1930.

World War II

He served from August 1939 to October 1944 in the Admiralty.
