Captain Seymour Henry Pelham Dacres, (17 July, 1847 – 28 May, 1887) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
In 1865, Dacres was awarded the Royal Humane Society's Bronze Medal.[1]
Dacres was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 20 April, 1868.[2]
Dacres was promoted to the rank of Commander on 11 September, 1872.[3]
In 1875, Dacres was awarded a clasp for his previous Royal Humane Society's Bronze Medal.[4]
Dacres was promoted to the rank of Captain on 9 March, 1881.[5]
Dacres died of meningitis at Yokohama.[6]
