Reginald Warren Hore

Commander (retired) Reginald Warren Hore, R.N. (23 August, 1894 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of Engineer Commander Fred Hore[? - appears to read "H. Hore"], R.N..[1]

Hore was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 September, 1916.[2]

Hore was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 September, 1924. In January 1925 he was loaned to the Royal Australian Navy for two years.[3]

Hore was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Commander on 23 August, 1939.[4]

World War II

He was hospitalised in Chatham R.N.H. in 1940, suffering with hearing issues.[5]

He reverted to the Retired List on 30 July, 1946.[6]
