Admiral of the Fleet Louis Francis Albert Victor Nicholas Mountbatten, First Earl Mountbatten, K.G., G.C.B., O.M., G.C.S.I., G.C.I.E., G.C.V.O., D.S.O., , Royal Navy (25 June, 1900 – 27 August, 1979) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
On 19 October 1941 Mountbatten was appointed Adviser on Combined Operations with the rank of Commodore, First Class. On 18 March he became Chief of Combined Operations with the Acting rank of Vice-Admiral.
