Commander (retired) Henry Radcliffe James, D.S.C. (15 May, 1886 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
James was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1908.
James was appointed in command of the destroyer Fervent on 18 April, 1913.[1]
On 28 November, 1916, James was appointed in command of the destroyer Sorceress.[2]
James was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 December, 1916.
Post-War
James was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 20 May 1919.
James was promoted to the rank of Commander (retired) upoin eaching age forty on 15 May, 1926.
