H.M.S. PC 61 was one of twenty "PC" class patrol boats built for the Royal Navy.

The boat was sometimes referred to as P 61 or PQ 61 in contemporary documents.

Service

In January, 1919, she was one of 13 "P" and "PC" boats allocated to mine clearance officers, working out of Devonport. She was assigned to Area 9.[5] She was one of eight such boats that kept at the task longer than most, being still at work in July, though her whereabouts may have changed in the interim.[6]

Reduced to C. & M. Party at the Nore on 16 October, 1919.[7]

In January, 1921, she was at Harwich, paid off along with forty-one minesweepers.[8]

By the end of 1922, she was one of three patrol craft in the care of Shipkeepers in Chatham.[9]
