Commander R.N.R. (retired) Frank Arthur Worsley, R.D., D.S.O.*, R.N.R. (22 February, 1872 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Born in Akaroa, New Zealand.
Worsley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 18 May, 1906.[1]
Worsley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 18 May, 1914. He was appointed to the special service vessel Q.6 from 28 April to 26 June, 1917.[2]
He was appointed in command of the Q-ship H.M.S. Pangloss on 16 September, 1918, but this was cancelled on the 30th.[3]
Demobilised on 13 November, 1919, Worsley was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 2 January, 1920.[4]
