H.M.S. K 15 was one of 18 submarines of the "K" class.

Service

On 26 April 1920, she was one of three "K" class vessels comprising reserve submarine group "A" at Rosyth, under the collective command of Commander John F. Hutchings.[7]

K 15 accidentally sank when moored alongside the light cruiser Canterbury in Portsmouth Harbour on 25 June, 1921. She was raised the following month. Her captain at the time, the decorated and experienced sub commander George Fagan Bradshaw, was told he would not be placed in command of a submarine again, owing to sloppy standards of attention and supervision found aboard the submarine by the ensuing Court Martial.[8]
