H.M.S. Andromache was one of 21 Apollo class second-class cruisers completed in the early to mid 1890s.

Service

Andromache participated in the Annual Manoeuvres of 1899 and then was paid off out of commission at Chatham on 24 August.[7]

Commissioned at Chatham on 13 September, 1909.[8]
