Lieutenant-Commander George Edward Cameron Wood, (10 July, 1900 – 5 November, 1940) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of C. E. Wood, Esq., the owner of a cotton mill.
Wood was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1920.
Wood was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1928.
Wood was appointed to the armed merchant cruiser Jervis Bay in lieu of a gunnery specialist on 4 October, 1940. He would die when she was lost.
