Felix Edward Chevallier

Commander (retired) Felix Edward Chevallier, D.S.C., R.N. (12 June, 1897 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of Captain B. H. Chevallier, R.N., retired.

Chavallier was in H.M.S. Iron Duke at the Battle of Jutland.

Chevallier was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 23 January, 1918. He was considered for the Victoria Cross in the aftermath of the raid on Zeebrugge.[1]

Chevallier was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 23 January, 1926.[2]

World War II

Chevallier was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Commander on 12 June, 1942.[3]

He reverted to the Retired List on 4 May 1946.[4]
