Rear-Admiral (retired) Cortland Herbert Simpson, C.B.E., R.N. (15 April, 1856 – 18 May, 943) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Simpson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 10 August, 1881.

Simpson was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1896.

Simpson was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1903.

Simpson was placed on the Retired List on account of age on 15 April, 1911 and promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral (retired) on 15 December, 1913.
