Charles Mackay John Willis

Commander (retired) Charles Mackay John Willis, (21 September, 1889 – 19 July, 1956) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of Lieutenant-Colonel C. Hope-Willis was born in the Royal Marine Barracks at [illeg].

Willis was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1912.

Willis was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 April, 1920.

Willis was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Commander on 24 April, 1923.

World War II

He died in 1956 from complications caused by a fall.
