Jump to navigationJump to searchThe Asiatic Fleet was an American naval force created in 1902, replacing the thirty-four year old Asiatic Squadron. It existed until 1907 when it was disestablished until being reformed in 1910. It operated thereafter until 1941.
History
The Yangtze Patrol was established as an element of the Asiatic Fleet, to protect US interests along the Yangtze River and nearby areas. It was usually commanded by the de facto second in command of the fleet.
