Arethusa Class Cruiser (1934)

Four of the minimalist Arethusa class light cruisers were completed in Britain between 1935 and 1937.

Design and Construction

Very similar to the Perth class cruisers, the Arethusas lacked "X" turrets, giving them six rather than eight 6-in guns in their main battery.
