Southampton Class Cruiser (1936)
From The Dreadnought Project
Five powerful Southampton class light cruisers were completed in Britain in 1937. Their four triple turrets replaced the double turrets used in preceding classes of British light cruisers at an increase of about 2,000 tons displacement.
