Captain Algernon Eden Brooke Greville, R.N., Retired (19 May, 1865 – 9 September, 1934) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of Captain Stapleton J. Greville, R.N. was born in Gosport, Hants.

Greville was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1888.

Greville was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1901.

Greville is noted in a Navy List as being appoint in command of Audacious on 25 July, 1908,[1] but this seems at odds with his service record.

Post-War

Greville was placed on the Retired List with the rank of Captain on 31 July, 1919.
