Vice-Admiral Noel Stephen Fox Digby (2 October, 1839 – 18 January, 1920) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

From 14 March 1855, Digby served in Hastings, Centurion and Emerald before being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 August, 1864.[1]

In 1866, Digby was awarded the Royal Humane Society's Bronze Medal.[2]

Digby was promoted to the rank of Commander on 29 May, 1872.[3]

Digby was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1879.[4]

He retired in accordance with Orders in Council of 22 February, 1870 on 30 May, 1893.[5]

He was advanced to Rear-Admiral on the Retired List on 1 January, 1895 and to Vice-Admiral sometime after 1900.[6]
