H.M.S. Vimiera was one of twenty-five "V" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1917-18.

Service

In August, 1917, Vimiera was assigned to the Thirteenth Destroyer Flotilla.[6] She commissioned on 5 September, 1917.[7]

She was reduced to Reserve at Chatham on 7 October, 1920.[8]

Captains

Dates of appointment are provided when known.

John Alan Pennington Legh was to be appointed on 17 January, 1919[27], but this was cancelled according to his Service Record.
