H.M.S. C 7 was one of thirty-eight "C" class coastal submarines completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

On 25 October, 1909 she was one of three "C" class boats to complete a refit at Sheerness Dockyard, now adorned with a new pattern bridge. They were to be inclined for stability tests before returning to The Nore Submarine Flotilla at Harwich.[5]

While operating in the Ninth Submarine Flotilla as part of the Harwich Force,[6] C 7 sank UC 68 in a night attack near the Schouwen Bank (51deg 42' N, 3deg 17' E) on 5 April, 1917.[7][8]
