Service
In the summer of 1914, B 10 went to Malta as one of three "B" class boats to initially constitute what would become the Mediterranean Submarine Flotilla.
Around November, 1915, B 10 was transferred to the British Adriatic Squadron, becoming one of a six "B" class boats in the formation. At a time when it coastal submarines were enjoying ever-less utility, the Adriatic was well-suited to operations by such handy craft.

- Lieutenant in Command Claude C. Dobson, 1 March, 1910[6][7] – 25 July, 1911[8]
- Lieutenant in Command Samuel M. G. Gravener, 25 July, 1911 – 20 July, 1914 (took submarine to Malta)
- Lieutenant in Command Ronald A. Trevor, 20 July, 1914[9]
- Lieutenant in Command Frederick C. C. Kennedy, 5 October, 1915[10] – 9 August, 1916 (ship lost under his command, though one source[11] feels Kenneth Michell was in command)
