George Bingham Powell ( – ) was an officer of the Royal Navy during the First World War.

Life & Career

On 31 December 1910, Powell was promoted to Captain.

He assumed command of the first class protected cruiser Gibraltar in October 1912.[1]

Powell was appointed to command H.M.S. Devonshire on 10 November, 1917.[2]

Powell was appointed in command of the battleship Monarch on 29 August, 1919.[3]
