Lieutenant Arthur Erskine Gurney Coombs, R.N. (3 February, 1888 – 15 October, 1914) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Coombs was promoted to the rank of Sub-Lieutenant on 30 July, 1907.

Coombs was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in April, 1909.

Coombs was appointed to the first class protected cruiser Hawke for navigating duties on 19 February 1914 and died when she was torpedoed and lost on 15 October.
