Service
Commissioned at Devonport on 24 October, 1911. In early 1913, she was atatched with the Third Battle Squadron, but we ordered to join the Second Light Cruiser Squadron in July.[7]
Alterations
Dartmouth was fitted with a director in February, 1918. This alteration required her pole mast to be replaced with a tripod mast for greater rigidity.[8]
