Captain Herbert Algernon Adam, C.B.E., Royal Navy (3 January, 1872 – 27 September, 1920) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Early Life
Adam was the younger son of the Reverend Benjamin W. Adam, D.D., of the Rectory, Bantry, Co. Dublin.[1]
He was appointed to command the battleship Queen on 1 May, 1914.[2]
Great War
He was appointed to command Cornwall on 5 July, 1917.[3]
He was appointed to command Neptune on 10 January, 1919.[4]
Adams died "suddenly" on 27 September, 1920 at the age of forty-eight.[1]
