Lieutenant-Commander Edward Smyth-Osbourne, R.N. (9 June, 1884 – 31 May, 1916) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Clifton, Somerset.
Smyth-Osbourne was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1905.
Smyth-Osbourne was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 December, 1913,
He was appointed to H.M.S. Invincible in July, 1914 and served in her until he died when she was lost at the Battle of Jutland.
