Vice-Admiral (retired) Ernest Clifford Hardy, Royal Navy, Retired (12 December, 1866 – 21 October, 1934) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Hardy was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1890.

Hardy was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1903.

Hardy was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1910.

Hardy was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 1 February, 1921 and placed on the Retired List the next day upon his own request.

Hardy was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 6 July, 1926.
