Captain Thomas Kenneth Whitmore Atkinson, (26 January, 1902 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.
Life & Career
Atkinson received the Robert Roxburgh Memorial Prize and the Beaufort Testimonial.
Atkinson was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1934. He was appointed executive officer in Nelson on 16 August, 1938.[1]
World War II
Atkinson was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1940.[2]
