H.M.S. Rifleman was one of twenty destroyers of the Acorn class.

Service

In mid-1913, active with Second Destroyer Flotilla.

In December, 1915, Rifleman transferred to the Fifth Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean, remaining there until being ordered home in February 1919.

On 8 March 1916, Rifleman collided with a trawler. Lt. Cdr. Bowles's services in dealing with the aftermath were commended.

Reduced to C. & M. Party at Portsmouth on 17 October, 1919.
