Commander (retired) George Drury, R.N. (20 July, 1851 – 11 October, 1912) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Drury was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 23 September, 1873.

Drury was appointed Lieutenant and Commander of the tug Traveller on 23 July, 1889 for the Annual Manoeuvres of 1889.[1]

Drury was placed on the Retired List on account of age with the rank of Commander on 20 July, 1896.

He died in 1912 of coronary failure.
