Service

Re-commissioned at Chatham on 8 May, 1923 for service with the First Cruiser Squadron in the Mediterranean.[7]

Re-commissioned at Chatham on 2 February, 1926 for service with the First Cruiser Squadron on the China Station.[8]

Paid off into Dockyard Control on 20 December, 1928.[9]

She was commissioned at Chatham on 18 March, 1930 for service on the America and West Indies Station.[10]

Re-commissioned at Chatham on 8 September, 1932 to continue in the same assignment.[11]

Re-commissioned at Chatham on 15 August, 1935 and was assigned to the Reserve Fleet at The Nore.[12]

In 1938, her bell was among a number of ships' bells the Royal Navy offered for sale to officers and others interested. It commanded a price of between £3-£10 plus packing and shipping. Interested parties were to apply to win one at its stated price, stating any special attachment or claim they had to the item(s) applied for.[13]

Fire Control

Dragon was fitted with a director in October, 1918.[14]
