Service
Danae was fitted with a director upon her commissioning in June, 1918.[7]
She re-commissoned at Chatham on 5 January, 1923 for service with the First Cruiser Squadron in the Mediterranean.[8]
Danae was re-commissioned at Devonport on 6 August, 1930 under the command of Eric Ritchie Bent for service with the Eighth Cruiser Squadron on the America and West Indies Station.[9]
