John Ouchterlony Barron ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Barron was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1903.[1]

Barron was appointed in command of the destroyer Acasta on 21 November, 1912.[2] He fought in her at the Battle of Jutland, operating as part of the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla and suffering heavy damage.[3]

Barron was appointed in command of the destroyer Wolsey on 18 April, 1918.[4]
