Captain Gilbert Ridley Waymouth, C.B.E. (5 May, 1901 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Waymouth was awarded the Goodenough Medal for being the Sub-Lieutenant who achieved the highest gunnery examination for the year and who also achieved a first-class certificate in seamanship.

Waymouth was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 June, 1922.

Waymouth was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1936.

Waymouth was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1942.
