H.M.S. Silvio was one of twenty-two 24 Class sweeping sloops completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
She transferred to the Royal Australian Navy in late 1924, becoming H.M.A.S. Moresby.
She commissioned at Pembroke Dock on 20 June, 1925.[5]
Moresby paid off into reserve on 8 April, 1930.[6]
