H.M.S. Ladas was one of twenty-two 24 Class sweeping sloops completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

From at least mid-1931[5] through at least early 1933,[6] she was in a paid-off condition.

Captains

Lieutenant-Commander Vincent B. Cardwell's appointment appointment in command of January, 1920[8] was apparently cancelled according to his Service Record.
