George Augustus Giffard

Admiral George Augustus Giffard, C.M.G., Royal Navy (20 February, 1849 – 23 September, 1925) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Giffard was appointed Commodore, Second Class in the Newfoundland Fisheries Division on 23 February, 1899.[1]

Giffard was appointed Admiral Superintendent of Chatham Dockyard on 5 February, 1907.[2]
