Life & Career
Thompson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 April, 1915.[1]
Thompson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 April, 1923.[2]
Thompson was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Commander on 31 August, 1935.[3]
