Jump to navigationJump to searchOsea Naval Base or H.M.S. Osea was a Royal Navy base for Coastal Motor Boats located on Osea Island in River Blackwater, Essex.
History
Closed down by late 1921, the C.M.Bs. were moved to Haslar, as part of a new Haslar Coastal Motorboat Base under command of Leonard Pius Vavasour.[1]

In Command of Flotilla
The flotilla was apparently a separate command entity than the Base.
