Commander (retired) Richard Charles Arthur Littleton, R.N. (1 February, 1888 – 21 November, 1945) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Warwick Square, S.W. the son of Rear-Admiral the Hon. C. A. Littleton.
Littleton was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 August, 1910.
Littleton was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 August, 1918.
Littleton was appointed in command of the destroyer Pylades on 5 November, 1918.[1]
Post-War
He was appointed in command of the destroyer Volunteer on 29 October, 1919.[2]
Littleton was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Commander on 31 October, 1929.
World War II
Littleton died of lung cancer.
