H.M.S. Landrail was one of two Curlew Class gunvessels completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Landrail commissioned at Devonport on 10 March, 1887 to be fitted out to replace Wrangler on the West Coast of Africa Station.[6]

She re-commissioned at Malta on 18 June, 1890.[7]
