Vice-Admiral SIR Robert Francis Elkins, C.B., K.C.B. (12 January, 1903 – 1985) served in the Royal Navy.

As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.

Life & Career

As a Midshipman and Sub-Lieutenant during 1921-23, Elkins served in Hood, Wryneck, Wild Swan and again in Hood.

Elkins was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 December, 1924.
