Commander (retired) Reginald George Talbot, C.B.E., R.N. (25 January, 1881 – 11 September, 1939) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Ceylon the son of Gustavus Talbot, manager of the Ceylon Tea Company.
Talbot was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1903.
Talbot was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1911.
Tlabot was appointed in command of the old training ship Daedalus on 21 January, 1916 with the acting rank of Commander. He remained in this post until 21 May, 1919.
Talbot was placed on the Retired List at his own request upon his relief on 13 December, 1920. He was promoted to the rank of Commander (retired) on 25 January, 1921.
