N° 6 was one of two N° 5 Class torpedo boats completed for the French Navy.
Construction
Service
Used for boiler training duties until 1882, when she became an instruction ship at the école Boyardville and subsequently assigned to the Défense Mobile de Rochefort. N° 6 was stricken in May 1888, becoming the yard craft Lupin as part of the underwater defenses of Rochefort. Lupin was condemned in 1890 and subsequently disposed of.[10]
