H.M. T.B. 63 (1885)
Builder: Yarrow[1]
Ordered: 30/31 March, 1885[2]
Launched: 1885[3]
Completed: September 1886[4]
Sold: 18 December, 1919[5]

H.M. T.B. 63 was one of 53 first-class torpedo boats of the 125 Footer class.

Around 1906-1907, with the issuance of torpedo boat numbers to the first of the Cricket class torpedo boats, the existing Torpedo Boats numbered 25 to 79 had a "0" prepended to their number. This vessel, therefore, became T.B. 063.[6]

Service

She was stationed in Chatham in 1895 as one of eight large torpedo boats of at least 125 feet length and two smaller ones.[7] She was still stationed at Chatham in 1905, as a tender to Pembroke.[8] By late 1911 she had been transferred to Devonport and was listed as a tender to H.M.S. Vivid, and was still stationed there at the outbreak of war.[9][10]

Sold at Malta on 18 December, 1919 along with her sister T.B. 070.[11]
